River Safety and Rescue 2 (RSR 2)

Meeting the standards set out by the Canoeing Ireland syllabus & led by experienced instructors, our course goes beyond just box-ticking. It's designed to build trust in your ability to look after yourself and others on moving water. Our coaches will equip you with the practical skills, mindset and awareness to respond in real-world river environments with clarity and confidence.

Pre-requisites: no experience necessary

What to bring?

• Full kayaking gear including helmet & PFD
• Folding - serrated knife with a blunt tip
• Throwline, sling & locking carabiner
• Wetsuit or drysuit
• River shoes
• Warm layers - (No Cotton) snacks & water
